Blu3 Africa’s specific mission is to empower women to explore and build their careers and visions in the web3 space so that they may achieve financial freedom. Our mandate is to learn, earn, and play and live our values to be bold, brave, and resilient. Our goal is to grow and diversify the African crypto ecosystem by providing an end-to-end solution that is fair and allows for a broad umbrella people. This includes onboarding, education, and direct deployment of African women talents into the web3 space as founders, leaders, and changemakers.

Our Mission

Our mission is to be a heart-centered organization that gives African women the platform to gain agency and educational power to elevate their lives and support their communities. We all know the saying: “when you empower a woman you empower the entire community.” Blu3 Africa embodies this sentiment and provides a context within that for African women in web3.

Not enough African women have the capacity or resources to train and gain entry into the tech industry. The barriers to entry for all women, in general, are high; the challenges are steeper for women form the Global South. African women face numerous obstacles that result in fewer opportunities and lower pay.

Despite opportunities for women being quite open right now, there is still a large gap in web3 and blockchain education across the Continent. As mass adoption continues in the coming years, this disparity will create a huge challenge for African women in terms of participation in a successful web3 career.

Blu3 Africa closes this gap by providing a web3 community and ecosystem for education, training, mentorship and ultimately fulfilling careers.
